About to graduate with barely any extracurriculars

I’m about to graduate at the end of this year and I barely have any extracurriculars. I have no volunteering and no campus/community involvement at all. All I have are around 300 shadowing hours and 400 research hours. I have a 4.0 GPA and I plan on taking 2 gap years to work on work on my extracurriculars and take the MCAT. Part of the reason that I’m lacking in extracurriculars was that I had to help with the family business in which I have over 8,000 hours working there (I’ve been working there ever since 2014). Would this family business even help my application? Would it look bad that I delayed working on my extracurriculars? Also, any tips to improve my application or any guidance would be appreciated.
