85 300SD Tach not working

Ok, I've checked the fuses and the clock is working and keeping time. I've replaced the OVP relay. I've tried the EGR computer bypass, I've verified it is plugged in at the back of the instrument panel. I'm at a loss for what the issue could be... Any other ideas?
