Discords? New player resources? I'm getting destroyed online lol

I'm completely new to VF and practically a novice at most fighting games, but something about this one spoke to me after I saw the VF5 Revo announcement. I love martial arts so I picked Brad for his Muay Thai, and I even picked up a fightstick. I've seen a couple beginner guide videos on Youtube, but they are not helping lol. I am getting absolutely eviscerated online and it doesn't feel good, haven't run into anyone yet who doesn't seem to be experienced with the RPS and their character's best buttons. I realize that's because the game just came out and lots of veterans are only just getting their ranks solidified.

So, anyone know any good Brad specific guides or general resources out there for how to learn a character's moveset from the ground up? I don't mind if they're text guides, in fact I would prefer that to a long ass Youtube video. And are there any discords out there where other noobs join lobbies and voice chat? Thanks!
