Has anyone else noticed a big uptick in ganking on the PVE server recently?

I played TurtleWoW from late 2023 to April 2024 and rarely if ever saw ganking as an Alliance player. I came back about a month ago and noticed way more ganking now in starting areas than before? Is it just me or has anyone else noticed this?
