A different kind of "what are my chances" post

I plan to gain PCE through a clinical technician, by the time I apply I should have ~ 2,400 hours. My main concern with this, however, is how my position as a clinical technician will be viewed. I often see people get accepted with PCE from being a MA, CNA, EMT, etc. So, I'd like to know what you all think about the clinical technician PCE route.
