What if, instead of fighting Thanos, the Avengers competed in Dragon Ball's Tournament of Power?

Edit: Okay so apparently I did not quite think the powerscaling-side of this discussion through, so instead let's just focus on who would be on the team, how they would fight together and what strategies they could potentially use haha

So I've recently watched Infinity War and I randomly thought of this idea.
I think it would make sense to take the Avengers as they are in Infinity War and put them into the ToP.
They would be taking the place of Universe 7. How far do you think they'd make it and who do you think would be on the team?

For those of you who don't know, the Tournament of Power is basically a Battle Royale between 8 Universes. Each Universe has 10 fighters who battle in a large arena. If you get knocked out or leave the arena, you're out. If your entire team is out, your Universe is eliminated. The battle goes on until all but one Universe is eliminated or until 48 minutes are over. If the time runs out, the Universe with the most remaining participants is the winner.

I think the biggest problem for the Avengers would be the fact that weapons and other items that provide an advantage in battle, pretty much anything that is more than just basic clothing, is generally not allowed in the Tournament of Power.
This would make some characters pretty much useless, like Iron Man, Ant Man and War Machine, and severely weaken others, like Captain America and Black Panther.

In terms of who makes it on the team, I think Thor is probably the safest bet since he is really strong even without Mjolnir or Stormbreaker.
Dr Strange is another character that, while definitely being much stronger with his weapons, would still be able to put up quite a fight without them.
Spider-Man falls into the same category, even without Stark's suit he is still incredibly powerful.
Scarlet Witch is probably the safest bet. She doesn't really use weapons anyway and has crazy strong powers.
Despite being Vibranium-less, Black Panther and Cap would still make fine additions to the squad imo.
While it would definitely be a gamble to bring him, I think Loki could provide a lot of value. If he feels like helping the Avengers that is. I personally feel like he has grown a lot and with the whole Universe being on the line, would join in and help. Narratively, he could maybe fill a similar role to Frieza.

Now there are some characters who are kind of a toss-up. Vision would provide a lot of value, but he is not a natural life form, so he might not be allowed to participate.
Another weaponless fighter is Groot, but he's stuck in his awkward adolescent state. If they find a way to make him grow before the Tournament starts, I think he'd be in.
Captain Marvel would undoubtedly be the strongest possible addition to the team, but Nick Fury is the only one able to contact her (and the only one who knows about her existence), so it would be a matter of whether he finds out about the Tournament before it begins.
Hulk would be another helpful asset, though in Infinity War our big green friend felt rather shy, so there's no way of telling whether you could count on him in this scenario.

If we consider another scenario where weapons are allowed, I think the squad would consist of Cap, Thor, Iron Man, Banner (wearing the Hulkbuster), Black Panther, Scarlet Witch, Dr Strange, Loki, War Machine and the last slot could go to either Captain Marvel, Falcon, Rocket, Gamorra, Nebula or Star Lord.

In terms of whether they'd actually be able to win, I have no clue about powerscaling to be honest, so I don't know. My guess is that they would be able to win against some of the weaker universes, but probably fail against at least Universe 6 and Universe 11.
