Am i in the wrong?

I got cussed out and called an idiot bc of my layout… i had out def reduction so high we did 93% more damage… how am i in the wrong for giving us such extreme buffs? I understand my damage was low, but he got blob wave 2 so i held off and built dmg reduction and kitties to help build his blob, blob stopped working so i built MORE dmg reduction and chus, i had mythic upgrade to 14. Am i the idiot?
