Repetition

Does anyone else see all the repetitive phrases in the genre and cringe or does everyone just ignore it? Does this really sound good to people?

I see it from one chapter to another or sometimes as often as from one paragraph to another.

I was looking for something new to read and the blurb of this book had the line “Armed only with his fists… Time to fight,” then seven short sentences later, “Armed with nothing but his fists….”

I don’t mean to pick on any particular author because I see it frequently, but I even heard a few lines repeated in the Audible sample that’s only a few short minutes. Why?
