Hog on Nomad Programing Wing

Hi All, I have an old ION Classic that I am considering selling and getting a nomad programing wing. I have a 6K dongle already. I was doing a lot of theater but now its pretty much all small-regional live concert events and have been wanting to get into Hog. My question is can I use the Nomad Programing Wing as a janky programing wing for the Hog software.

If not what's the most cost effective way that you can recommend to get into Hog or Ma with at least some level of hardware surface. (I know some people can program circles around the world with a QWERTY keyboard, I however can not haha)
