Atakhan forcing early-game aggression is another indirect nerf to the ADC role.

After removing much of ADC's agency via direct champ nerfs, item nerfs, item/passive removal (Galeforce, removing giant slayer), etc. and having many of the early game lane stomp champions being absolutely terrible in the meta, it felt like the only thing left to do as an ADC was play safe and try to scale. However, with the addition of Atakhan providing a GA buff in low-intensity games, it seems like the ADC role is being further punished for playing inside the box they were designed to fit into.

Mitigating all deaths, maximizing all farm and playing to scale now means you are forced into coinflipping a game-winning buff. I'm not too sure what the expectation of this role is at this point?
