Endoscopy while taking kratom

So I've been needing an endoscopy for years now, but haven't gotten around to doing it bc [edited reason apparently I can't say on this sub 🙃]

You're not supposed to eat anything for like 12 hrs beforehand, so I figured I'd have to skip my night & morning doses.

But I just saw someone recommend making kratom tea instead, in order to prep for a colonoscopy. What did y'all do to prepare for an endoscopy?
