Does anyone else miss the old necromancer?

Now don't get me wrong, I like the new necromancer too, but man I miss the way the old necromancer fired. I get the combination of the Archmage and necromancer, but I really liked that the old necromancer felt different because it changed from the normal slow firing mage to something faster. It just felt different!
