Did lower premolar extraction (for LJS) change your jaw shape?

I’m a little nervous that the lower premolar extractions (one on each side, 2 teeth total) will change the shape of my jaw.

I know that it’s to make room so the lower jaw can be advanced during surgery, but I’m scared my lower jaw bone will reshape and become narrower and visibly change from the extractions.

Is this worth being worried about?
