How to get REALLY good at hoi?

So I'm at around 1300h at this point and I'd say im pretty good at this lil ol' game, however I'm kinda unsatisfied. I see these lunatics who get bored of the game because its too easy for them and im jealous. So in short: how do i take my skills to the next level? How do i truly understand this game inside and out?
