I love fpv, but I hate soldering tiny stuff and diagnosing faults with hardware/software.

I got into the hobby with a nazguk 5 V1 bnf, except I didn't quite understand the hobby back then and got it without a receiver, which I then had to solder on, which required me to strip and rebuild the whole quad anyway.

That quad racked up some hours and I gained some experience with Betaflight and soldering and I hate both.

The flying? Dreamy. Love it.

The quad repairs & bug fixing? Hate it.

I recently crashed into a puddle and toasted my FC. I had a spare, although a newer version so I have had to re-setup my receiver. Fighting annoying bugs like the R2 pin not working for I-bus, only the R4 pad.

Plus building issues issues like struggling to solder some of the tiny pads without bridging them or watching my solder just lift off pads because I've used my gas soldering iron so much fixing this, I've now got a blockage in it and need to get that repaired.

And cross threaded or worn down screws. I've dis & re-assembled this quad enough times I've gone through several Allen keys and I've bought new screws for it.

All these issues individually would be fine, but together they are too much for me. I want more of a plug & play approach to repairing & building.

To draw a parralel, I do 3d modelling & printing or functional things in my house. I was struggling with the hobby until I got a Bambu printer. The QOL features and ease of use compared to all other printers meant I could spend my time modelling, not fixing prints. This is what I actually enjoy and now I love that hobby again.

Is there a Bambu equivalent for fpv? Maybe I need to accept DJI is the only one that does what I want. Maybe if I flew 3" instead of 5" I'd have a much better time.
