Input on possible semi auto cycling system.

States like Colorado and New Mexico are putting forth bills that want to ban certain “gas operated” semi auto guns. Does anyone think there would be a way to implement an electronic solenoid or system that could cycle a firearm without the use of expanding gases. I know most (including me) would be grossed out by the thought of any electronics controlling things on a firearm, however I see this as a very good loophole with much potential. With this system it would also allow for easy fine tuning and would eliminate any gas going back to the operator.

My vision for this would be a device that could just replace the gas block and tube while fitting under most hand guards, would also want the gun to be able to become a “bolt gun” if the battery died.

Ik most would say to just move but above anything else I think this would be such a great fuck you to the people pushing these kinda laws.
