2018 F150 head gasket leak, engine swap?

Looking for a bit of advice. It’s clear my head gasket is leaking and my truck is drinking coolant. The truck has a 2.7L TT with 292,000 km’s on it and the pretty much everything under the hood is stock. Now the shop I took it to advised me it’s probably best and a much cheaper long term route to look at getting a used low km engine to replace my current one. I’m being told with that many km if they were to do the head gaskets and find no damage it would still be smart of me to replace certain things whilst there like belts, sensors, and water pump. That I’m told will be similar or close to the same price as putting in the low km engine. I’ve been given a quote over the phone for a new used engine. Not sure the year but it’s a 70,000km 2.7L with a 2 year warranty and everything on it like water pump, alternator, TT, etc for $5300+tax. All in I was quoted $10,700 that includes tax and a $500 buffer incase something comes up on the install like new spark plugs. That’s also at an estimated man hour of 26 hours but if less hours it will cost less.

Just curious what peoples opinions are on doing one or the other. I want to keep this truck for long term and don’t have any intention of selling it. From a quick AutoTrader search the cheapest lariat in my area is $25k plus tax and doesn’t run lol. I should add it’s also a base Lariat and if the install costs the whole $10,700 I will into the truck a total of $23,000. Also note this is all in Canadian dollars.
