Should the Lions consider Saleh for DC?

Assuming AG leaves for the head coaching job he absolutely deserves, should we consider Saleh? He fell on his face as HC for the Jets, but I'm not sure anyone would have been successful there given their history of suck and a past-his-prime diva at QB.
