Gift-worthy or not?
My sister visited me over Thanksgiving and requested a “beach themed” blanket for her birthday (it’s in a couple of weeks). Ugh! I don’t crochet for people but she is my sister. This is what I did. It has…issues. My son jokes that the mermaid is sitting in front of an egg! I used pixel art as a pattern, so it is a bit odd. Some of the squares I made up, some I searched on Google (free dolphin appliqué, for example), and some squares are from the book, “3D Granny Squares” I bought off Amazon. Does this fit the request? She doesn’t know I’m actually making it. I told her I didn’t have enough time to get it done, so no harm if I don’t send it lol.
