Stuck For Ideas ðð
TL/DR: I made one leg warmer as a Christmas gift but hate how it looks on a leg because the design stretches (not a design flaw, just personal pref), tried to turn it into a sleeve but realised i dont have time to make a cardigan and am now looking for ideas on what I can do with this crochet skull tube.
So I started making these leg warmers by Spider Mambo Designs on Etsy (will link in the mod comment) for my gothy sister's christmas present and its a great pattern, nothing up with it but i finished one and then tried it on and...i hate the way it looks on a leg. Again, straight up personal preference nothing to do with the pattern. I even made them 1 skull larger but still no. The fabric gets stretched and makes the skulls look silly. So as you can see per my photo, I added ribbing because i then had the idea of using it as a sleeve and making a sort of Beetlejuice themed cardigan BECAUSE i have a long panel thats black with a green drip colourwork on it that im about to make into a tote to match the original leg warmers. However, im really not sure I like the idea of a cardigan as i still have a few other gifts to finish and i also still want to do a few xmas projects for fun. I would have started earlier but I've just moved house so that was underway.
Anyway, in short, thats the deal and im kinda on here to see if anyone has any ideas on what to do with this tube of crochet. I dont care about frogging the ribbing so i can definitely get rid of that but...anyone got anything? Im racking my brain but i just? I dunno its late and im freaking out over it ð help is appreciated ðâĪïļ
