Advice

I’ve been at my local community college for the past year doing my general education courses. I always knew I wanted to transfer to university after my two years but I’ve been unsure about what career/major I wanted to pursue. I just knew that I never wanted to be bored at my job, a complete office/sit down job, or spend 10 years in college. Recently I’ve looked more into civil engineering and been really fascinated, which is a lot coming from me.

Im planning on doing a transfer program to NC State (in-state) next year. I want to stay in Raleigh even after I finish college. It’s a nice area with a bunch of opportunities from what I can tell.

Any advice, pros and cons, additional information, or description of your job would be so helpful!
