Four Seasons Chicago review

Where we went: Four Seasons Chicago.

When we went: Summer 2024

Who went: My wife and I

Rooms: Booked a one bedroom suite, city view on a pay 2 stay 3 promo through our fabulous mod u/alex_travels

Service: 10

Service was excellent from start to finish. I pre arranged spa treatments and dinner reservations through the app. I asked for restaurant suggestions and they were right on. The doormen there were very good about cabs and directions. Housekeeping was excellent. The in room dining service was very good. Check in and out we're smooth. The spa staff and therapists was great. The bartenders at the lobby bar were very professional. Upon arrival for one dinner reservation off property we were thanked for being friends of Four Seasons and presented with a glass of champagne while our table was being setup.

The hotel is in a good central location. It connects to a shopping center. There's a lot of space to hang out once you get to the reception level. There's a good sized square lobby bar. I didn't go to the spa on this trip but we wife liked the facility. The pool was awesome. They've got the ice cream and cocktail carts for in room dining. The hotel has excellent city and lake views. The gym looked nice but I did not use it.

The room was large and laid out well. The entryway was long with the bedroom near the front door. The bedroom was large with a very comfortable bed and big walk in closet. The sheets and comforter were very nice as were the small plants around the room.

The bathroom was good sized with a single vanity and shower/bath combo. The water pressure and temperature were good. The bathroom amenities smelled good.

The living room had big windows, a desk and chair, and a large kinda oddly shaped sofa. The sofa was comfortable but kinda hard to lay on due to the shape. There was a mini fridge, coffee station and an additional 3/4 bath. We were on the top floor so the views were great. The air conditioning worked well.

Food: 9.5

We had in room dining for breakfast each day of our stay. Everything was very good. I mentioned that I like strong coffee and they didn't disappoint. The omelettes very fantastic. The burger at the lobby bar slaps. The shaved brussel sprout salad is also a winner. Sadly, we didn't try the ice cream cart 😔.
