Budapest locals, what do you think about celebrating New Year in your city?

My gf(20) and I(22) decided to go in Budapest for 3 days on NY eve. I'm asking Budapest population for little help which would be good to include: where to go (caffes, restaurants, city attractions, ..), what to do and is it even good place for young couple to go to?
