Wanting a new backpack for hiking and backpacking one that can do both

I like the tactical style because the loops on the bag are universal and I can buy water bottle attachments and stuff that can link right onto the pack. For examply i had a puch for my cigarettes on the outaide of the pouch so they wouldnt get crushed, also had a bear spray holder on this pack.

However a lot of the "tactical" stuff online is junk and rips and doesn't last. I have been considering a more traditional style pack like a rei thats more quality but I also like the universal loops on these tactical packs. Is there a pack that's a mixture of both the tactical style and the traditional pack style?
