Why do guys get offended when you call them “bro” as a woman?

Back when I was dating, I used to call the guys I was talking to “bro,” “bruh,” “dude,” or “my guy.” I.e “sup my guy?” Or “what’s good bro.” These words are just part of my vocabulary, and I address everyone with one of these words in a causal setting. I noticed a lot of guys would get upset, accuse me of being male, or just be weirded out if I called them “bro.”

I don’t really understand why men would be upset by this. I would appreciate the insight

I am also 27F

Edit: Wow, the responses to this are wild. From now on, I’m just going to call every guy I meet snuggle wuggle. Since the term “bro” pisses them off so much.
