Looking for anime I've watched few years ago

I only remember some points of it as I watched it few years ago.

-The anime was set in modern-ish days

-The main guy was tall, wore glasses and had powers of time travel (only to the past). He either was in school or at work but I think more school? Or did he time travel to school days? Something like that

-The MC tried to stop the death of his friend (she either committed suicide or was murdered. I don't remember)

-At some point his mom was killed in their home, while the MC was away
