A Proposal to Tackle School Misconduct
If the government calculated the yearly expenses spent on each student, from primary school to a master’s degree, and allocated this amount as a scholarship to cover their education. However, this scholarship would be tied to the student's behavior and discipline.
Currently, teachers have little to no power over misbehaving students. These students not only fail to perform academically but also go out of their way to bully others and disrupt classes, making it impossible for their peers to focus and learn.
If a student engages in such misconduct, they would face a disciplinary council and could potentially lose their scholarship. This approach could empower teachers, discourage disruptive behavior, and create a better environment for learning, especially in high schools, where the lack of discipline has become a serious issue.
