My supervisor contacts me every day since we went hybrid
Used to be in office and my previous supervisor retired. But I almost never heard from previous supervisor unless it was urgent. We did have monthly 1:1 meetings. New supervisor now contacts me every day about something whether it's a random question or about some sort of task in addition to what we already have to work on. I'd say I notice it more on our remote days. It's starting to get very distracting since I am a programmer who needs quiet time. I'm starting to think this is their method of checking up on us because they're paranoid we're not working. I'd much more prefer a weekly meeting discuss everything rather than at all other time. Is this normal for a remote arrangement?
