just noticed our system does use battery power instead of solar power. normal?
the batteries were charging until a few minutes earlier, also there was loads (800w), then the batteries were full, mppts switched to float and stopped charging, so far so good.
but there continued to be 100w loads (see pic1) and the system itself draws 90w. shouldn't those be fed by solar? (sun is shining!)
or is it normal that after full charge / battery float the mppts wait until voltage falls below a certain threshold to re-enter charging? (would make sense to safe the batteries, but also now in the evening, the loads draw a bit until that threshold is reached, but then the sun is gone... could have been powered by solar and the batteries would be full by dawn...)
what do you say? something wrong or everything set up correctly? other otherwise no issues with the system.
