Why are people bothered by those who don't wear socks with Vans?

And no, before everyone readies their downvotes, I wear socks with Vans. I'm on y'alls side. Like I wear socks to prevent smell and overall comfort, but I do wonder why everyone here is ready to attack those who don't wear socks with their Vans.....
