Is there Parkinson’s in your family?

Who here has someone with Parkinson’s disease in their family?

This week’s Newsflash (thanks u/achchi !) links to a study suggesting that Parkinson’s and IBD have the same cause. It also says that people with IBD are more likely to develop Parkinson’s and vice versa. Really interesting stuff.

If the diseases are connected, it seems like there should be lots of people with UC who have Parkinson’s in their family. I do (grandfather). Does anyone else?
