dealing with a different sleep schedule than roommates

so basically I usually like waking up on the later side, which I put on my roommate preferences, but I’m going to have some 8am classes this quarter because of what would fit with my schedule. unfortunately my roommates (I’m in a triple) also sleep late but they also go to bed really late, way later than I do. I might end up going to bed and waking up 3 hours before them in order to get enough sleep.

is this possible/feasible? did anyone have success in the past with a starkly different sleep schedule than their roommates?
