Need help with buying a smartphone!

I currently have a Samsung Galaxy a12, with the cheapest specs i could buy at the time, but i have noticed that it has started lagging a bunch. I have looked over different phones, both cheap and expensive, and i just cant seem to find a good fit.

I want a decent spec phone that can handle daily tasks and light-medium gaming whilst also having a "ok" camera for content creation. My budget is around 260$ or 255£

I am open for any suggestions:)
