Skyrim DLCS not showing up in launcher or Data Files Greyed

After a week of rage over this issue I finally fixed it:

// Data Files Grayed Out //

-go to Documents and then My Games then Skyrim

-now Click on SkyrimPrefs.ini

-Under [Launcher] (in the very end) add this line: bEnableFileSelection=1

//DLCs/Mods Not showing up//

-click windows key+r

-type regedit and enter

-click on HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE

-click on Software

-click on WOW6432Node (maybe only for 64 bits / for 32 bits there may be a folder in Software with same name)

-click on Bethesda Softworks

-click on Skyrim

-on the right screen there will be "Installed Path" box

-right click on it and click on "modify"

-under "Value data" write the install address of your skyrim folder

-so this is mine you can see the method like this : E:\Games\Skyrim\SkyrimLegendaryEdition\

!!! MAKE SURE TO WRITE THE BACKSLASH AT THE END IT IS VERY IMPORTANT!!!
