Potential ways that innies and outies can communicate without tripping the code detectors?

After reading the other thread theorizing that outie Irving could be potentially trying to communicate with innie Irv using his watch I started wondering about other ways they could potentially communicate without tripping the detectors.

The two ways that were brought up in the thread were:

  1. As stated above, flag semaphore language via watches. While this wouldn’t trip the code detectors, this method is not good for long or detailed messages. Unless I’m missing something it would take multiple days to spell out one sentence.

  2. Stitching morse code and hexadecimal code into clothing. However, its implied in the Lexington Letter that Peg Kincaid and her innie were only able to communicate without tripping the detectors because the code detecting technology is relatively new, so as of now the morse code and hexadecimal messages might not get through.

Two other random methods I thought of were:

  1. Origami. This would have to be entirely symbolic, like a folded tiger meaning danger or a crane meaning hope.

  2. Victorian flower language. This can be used to send out more complicated messages, and definitely wouldn’t trip the code detectors, but the flowers would have to be really small. Also, the innie would not be able to send a message back.
