White “dusting” on soil/ One VFT behaving differently

I posted about this before but it’s more noticeable now so wondering if I’ll get more answers.

There is a white substance appearing on the top of my soil. It’s 50/50 peat moss and perlite. Not sure what the substance is but it has become more prominent recently.

Secondly my pot actually has two seperate VFTs, one is normal and growing so many new traps all the time.

The other one has started growing these weird new leaves I’m not sure what they are, flowers maybe idk. All three of its traps are kind of overextended like when a trap has freshly reopened but none of them are snapping a fly when I try to feed it.
