Best place to sell retro video game collection?
Hey all.
I want to avoid eBay, Craigslist, and Facebook due to scam concerns. I have a large NES collection I'm looking to part with. Based on lowest values listed online it's about $1,000 worth.
Anyone know a good local place I could sell it to? I was looking at Gameplayers in Brockport, but wanted to know others' experience and opinions in dealing with local game stores. I know I would get LESS than it is worth from these stores, as they have a profit incentive, but I consider that OK given I do not want to go through the hassle of listing out the collection and dealing with potential scammers on the usual marketplace sites.
So if you're coming to comment on how you think I'm making a "mistake" by selling to a game store, please do not. I've thought this over for a while already. (On the flip side if anyone here has legitimate interest about it I may be willing to entertain it, but forgive me in advance if I am wary of any offers.)
Thanks in advance!
