Understanding reps!

Just curious! A watch like the Batman or Pepsi goes for 25k-30k USD. When you look to buy a watch like this for $600 USD is it reflective of your financial status? Do you wear it in front of people who know you maybe don’t have 30k laying around to spend on a watch? Or is it something to wear on vacation where nobody knows anything about you? I’m just curious because I’m wanting to get a rep but I feel like based off my income, an oyster perpetual or air king or mayyybe a no date submariner would be believable. Or should I say screw it and get myself a Batman or Pepsi lol. Just want to know what goes through everyone’s head. I’m no in way trying to be rude or judgemental. Thank you kindly!
