RD question

So I’ve used RD before and I read an article that RD have gotten a warning by a French institution that there services is being used for illegal movie/serie torrenting. Has this an influence on us as users cause I’m scared that RD will leak information about users that uses their services. I’m not French but still. And I ain’t paying +200 in a month for all streaming services out there
