28 y/o female and had an endoscopic brow lift
Hi! I had low lying brows and had an endoscopic brow lift under local anesthesia yesterday 6/30. Hang out here while I document my journey.
Day of surgery- I felt very calm about my decision which resulted in me feeling very calm the day of. Everyone gets the day of jitters but overall I felt fine. Since it was local anesthesia I could still eat. Just made sure I didn’t drink too many fluids. I started by getting my blood pressure taken, took my meds (Percocet, Ativan, phenergen and antibiotic.) I also had fat transfer to the face (and a mole removal) so I had my blood drawn for the PRP. Went into the OR, was marked and my surgeon started with the local injections. They weren’t too bad at all on the scalp but the brows were a little more of a pinch. As we went on the surgeon explained what he was doing and before I knew it we were on to the fat injections and were finished.
Later that night was a little rough for me I had a lot of nausea and vomited a couple of times but after that I was able to take tylenol extra strength and keep it down.
Day 1 post op- haven’t taken anything for pain yet and it isn’t too bad. Maybe 3-4/10. I want to see if I can keep some food down first and then go from there. I will keep it going in the comments when I have updates!
