Celebratory/splurge date night spot

Looking for recommendations/reviews on a place to celebrate a new promotion with my wife. In the past, we've done Vetri Cucina a few times which we loved, but I'm open to somewhere new as well. I've heard good things about Provenance & Ambra, but am certainly open to other recs as well.

Any kind of food is welcomed, but she particularly loves Italian.
