Shining Tides - Hotel Options

My fiance and I love the Shining Tides wedding venue in Mattapoisett. However, the suggested hotels in New Bedford and Wareham do not seem to be the best options. Has anyone had experience with this venue and if so what was your hotel situation and experience? We would hate to let go of this venue because of poor lodging options.
