I am going to lose my mind

I’m not one of those “this game is unplayable” people. I’ve spent 100+ hours playing. I’m enjoying it for what it is. HOWEVER…

There is some absurd AI logic in this game at times that makes me want to break things. Latest example in dynasty (where I only play offense and simulate defense) - Up 24-3 in the 4th quarter. - one play TD for the opposition (fine, it happens, whatever) now it’s 24-10 - I get the ball back and drive down the field, pass play on 3rd and goal, defender runs right into my WR while the ball is in the air, stopping him from running forward, no penalty gets called and they get a pick because my WR couldn’t reach the ball (would have been a TD) - 3 plays and they score again (after no TDs for 3+ quarters they score back to back drives) now it’s 24-17 - I get the ball back, another pass that bounces off my receiver hands and turns into a pick six because MY ENTIRE OFFENSIVE LINE JUST STANDS STILL UNTIL THE CB RUNS PAST. Now 24-24 and I end up losing in OT

The absurd game scripting kills me and how can we not get some decent tackling after a pick. I swear 90% of the INTs I throw turn into pick 6s because the offense stops moving and takes awful lines. It’s infuriating.

EDIT: I don’t care about losing the game. I realize I could chew the clock and run the ball, I’m not Nick Siriani with clock management. This was just a specific scenario of something that happens ALL THE TIME. 1. Horrible DPI not being called. 2. INTs being a guarantee pick 6 for the computer. 3. End of game script turning everything into a tight game/comeback regardless of how the first 3 quarters went.

Running the ball at the end of the game would have helped me win, but doesn’t change the underlying issue that DPI and Pick 6s for the CPU are a broken function of the game.
