JaeJi's ( Jaehyung - Jiwon ) fate

I am not sure if someone already pointed out the fact that (other than the Wave to Earth "fate" between JaeJi, Jaehyung and Yoonjae were weak and sickly as a child, the brothers being closer to their mothers and Jiwon and Seseung closer to their fathers, choosing "25 21" by Jaurim in the singing contest) both their mothers was/is ill. This is not exactly a good thing (being seriously ill) but there are several points I want to elaborate that are quite significant.

• Jiwon's mother shared her illness and how it affected Jiwon so much. It was pretty much their main story during the reveal. ChoA and Seseung were very moved by this (they can relate) and I am sure everyone did.
• On the other hand, Jaehyung's mother only shared how she went to tour London and Paris with his son, and that he may not be able to do that when he is already married. But the viewers were made known through the siblings in their interviews (or confessionals) that not only was Jaehyung sickly as a child but their mother became ill from cancer but is now better.

I have mentioned previously right after the chaos in episode 14 when Jiwon mentioned that she does not think she would ever find someone with a heart as big or generous as the ocean, I thought of Jaehyung and that whole moment with his mom. My exact quote in that post was:

"No, Jiwon, it is not 'river' Park. It is 'ocean' Park."

I also said that I do not think she would have the serious conversation she wanted in the show but outside of it for sure. She wondered why he was seemingly dodging the serious stuff during their ferris wheel ride. Unlike what a few people have said, it is not that he is not capable of one.

Jiwon would probably discover Jaehyung's vulnerability and reliability once he finally opens up to her privately like what he said in his confessionals and other things in his life.

When he cried (I never really took him seriously before that) and expressed his regrets and realizations about his mother, I thought any mother would want to have a son like him. As his mother said, he takes care of her like she is a child, probably still making up for the way he treated her less gently before.

I imagine how this would look like to Jiwon's mother and Jiwon herself when they watched it. If JaeJi is endgame and was/is still together, Jiwon would have already been aware of it before that episode. Of course, seeing it on screen is different.

Considering Jiwon's struggle with her mom being sick, I think she and Jaehyung could build a deep emotional bond through this similarity. And likewise, their families too.

This could be a beautiful love story if it ended well.
