MIL Disowned Husband

My MIL disowned my husband the other day because he stood up to his mother. He corrected his mother about her treatment of myself and our kids. He used past texts and emails to formulate his replies to her, and she did not like it. Growing up, my MIL let her second husband beat my husband. She let his stepmom cyberstalk and catfish my husband. She has ignored our son and has been obsessed with our young daughter. She completely turned his family against him. He is so sad and lost, I don’t know how to help him other than being there. No contact is easy for me, but not for him.

She has always treated me like crap, but I have put up with it. I always tried to make sure she saw both kids, and always tried to include her into things. She has been toxic since the first day I met her. He was a mamas boy that she leaned on emotionally after his stepfathers death. That emotional incest makes this so much harder.

What can I do for my husband? I don’t know what to do. My husband is so lost and hurt.
