[Spoilers] Theory about Firefly
This may sound like a crazy and ridiculous theory, but... what if Firefly is actually male?
When we first meet Firefly, she(?) was about to be apprehended by the Bloodhounds for being a stowaway. Gallagher steps in to de-escalate the situation and mentions that the witness report says the suspect is a "lad with silver hair" not a girl with silver hair.
Firefly is then let off the hook. You'd think that's all there is to it, right? I mean just by looking at Firefly, it's clear they look like a lady. However, it's entirely possible to change your appearance in the Dreamscape. If it wasn't possible, why would there be a rule against impersonation shown just before entering the Dreamscape? There would have had to be a precedence for this rule to be made in the first place.
Then there's the fact that Firefly revealed they were actually a stowaway.
Firefly checks off almost all the boxes on the witness report.
- Has silver hair - yes
- Is a stowaway - yes
- Male - no
Perhaps Firefly is impersonating someone, or simply just changed their gender in the Dreamscape to escape suspicion.
What do you guys think? It's probably way too out there to actually be true, but the witness report got me curious.
