Song/solo recommendations for an intermediate guitarist

I've been playing electric for around eight years and I'd like to think I'm a decent player, no incredible skills but I can get my way through most songs I want to play. For the past few weeks I've been in a bit of a rut and have been struggling to find inspiration to play new songs.

I mainly play sixties/seventies rock, some alt rock and a little metal (I'm studying abroad and have an eight-string strandberg with me for the year) but I'm open to try anything.
