what can i do to do lead guitar better

i have been playing on and off for about 4-4.5 years and im pretty good at chords, singing while playing etc. but one part ive kinda neglected has been lead guitar. is there any beginner song book or any suggestions for a good way to improve from 0/almost 0 that you would recommend ? i own an acoustic guitar and a classical guitar. i would like to play more jazz stuff
