Please help me, will he ever come back

Last time I spoke with my ex, he told me he’s leaving the country for a few weeks to forget me and will come back when his mind is in the right place. He says that if I dare speak to his family, he will pretend like I never existed. He also told me that anytime I reach out to him, I stress him out. But I don’t understand something, he tells me even now that I’m at the “top of the top” and that there’s no one like me. Then how can he still chose the move on? I know there’s nobody else in the picture. He’s been struggling a lot mentally since last year and has been depressed as well (I asked him multiple times to get help but he would get mad at me). He has dropped out of university (blamed it on me), stopped his work and went on vacation.

Are there any chances he’ll ever come back? When I asked him the chances, he said “I don’t know, 10%, 2% just leave me alone”.
