Uk chore?

Hi. Currently use pipe screens rolled up and pushed to the end of my pipe, I’ve found this on Amazon. Is this similar to the US choreboy?

Also how do I go about out preparing it, do I have to burn it or something that I read before?

I’m getting grey spit coming off my chest after a big sesh and I’m convinced it’s off the pipe screens, they’re stainless steel.
